Last Day of Summer

It is the last day of Summer, and it has not been much of a summer at all to be honest. But the gardens survived well and are bringing in the native birds at least, to our now almost established native garden. We had two new comers this evening: 2 juvenile Magpies. I have been trying to get more bird shots in my portfolio, so I started shooting out the front window, so I didn’t scare them off. One didn’t seem to care and just started squawking, as the bird bath was empty and he wanted water. So I went out the door, he was watching and squawking the whole time, but didn’t fly off. His mate was a little more tame and would not come any closer. Got some great shots.
