A Day at Docklands

Spent a rather nice afternoon out at Docklands today, learnt a lot and took hundreds of photos, many still to go through, this is just a few many thanks to Leanne Cole and the Social Snappers. This is my first venture out with the camera not on complete auto. I played a little with aperture and shutter settings, I am quite happy with these, however there were a few failures! Aah the learning curve. Particularly like the view of Channel 7 building over the looking the Docklands Harbor with the reflections of the buildings. Loved the Life Buoy, just had to grab a shot of that. Also, for some strange reason I also really like the image of the lady in the yellow coat at Southern Cross Train Station…….just something about the color, composition and reflection. Apart from adding frames and making the Life Buoy background Monochrome I really have not edited these shots much, just a little cropping and cleaning up. Will have to play a little further and put some more up.
